Braids

Braided fishing line is nothing but a line made of many braided fibers. Braided fishing line, as opposed to monofilament, does not contain nylon and stretchy materials. It is therefore a completely non-stretchable line, thanks to which the feeling of the lure and the moment of strike is much more noticeable. Remember not to take into account only the diameter and compare the strength. Another parameter is the number of strands; the higher the number of strands, the softer, silkier and rounder we get, but remember that 8-strand lines are usually more susceptible to damage (especially the final section will wear on obstacles). For this reason, we recommend using fluorocarbon, and if we think about pike bycatch, it should be used from 0.60mm upwards.
