AGLIA STREAMMEPPS - GOLD - #00 - 0,9g

A cross between an artificial fly and a spinnerbait, Mepps' lightest design, yet quite complex. A microstreamer tied on a #8 hook, with a metallic lamé body, mallard flank wings and a red anthrone tail, plus a black head with a white eye. The fly is clipped to an elastic axle with a double-sided pallet - in three colours: silver, gold and fly-brown. One size, one weight - 0.9g. For ultralight spinning - 0.12 line, no swivels or snaps. Short, measured casts and here in the spinning spinner's sphere of interest appears dace, rudd and on side leads in a Christmas tree set and from a harbour pier authentic Baltic herring. One of the few spinners regularly taken by grayling, especially in brown version. On salmon waters, even during extreme heat, it can lure a good-sized, heat-stressed trout out of its den. As well as chub on small and extremely clear rivers.

The manufacturer even suggests using Streamepps for a fly and guiding it like a streamer. Well, for sure a spinner of such weight will be further served with a fly line than with the most delicate spinning.
