COURIER - S - SBL - 7cm

At first glance you can see that Courier is a typical asp lure. Its glue-like shape, almost vertically positioned lip and big weight are the common features of this type of lures. It is no different with Dorado Courier.

The idea of constructing such a lure was born in my head a few years ago, when during my stay on the Rożnowskie lake I was observing asps feeding spectacularly, but I wasn't even able to throw any of the lures I had in the region where they were feeding. However, as it happens in life, I took up something else and the idea was abandoned.

I returned to it in 2018, when my angling paths led me to the region of Płock, to the local Vistula River. Here, just like in Rożno, I saw spectacular feeding of large asps and again it turned out that I don't have anything to fish with. So the proverbial "shoeless man...". When I came back I dug up an idea for an asp wobbler and this time I started to realize it seriously. As a result Courier was created.

I know I didn't discover America, because there are quite a lot of wobblers of this type on the market, but I tried to make my lure stand out and I think I succeeded, because apart from classic, shimmering work with minimal tail swings, the Dorado Courier wobbler "mirrors" perfectly when falling. Surely every angler fishing for asps has encountered a situation when suddenly behind the lure there appears a fin of an asp slashing the water, which watches the lure for a moment and then disappears in the depths. In such a situation we have two options, either we speed up the lure, or on the contrary, slow down. But in the latter case, which especially in autumn is an extremely effective manoeuvre, the vast majority of heavy asp lures "die", completely losing their action, and thus depriving us of a chance to outsmart the careful Asp. The Dorado Courier asp wobblers are free from this disadvantage, which has been proved during two years of testing both in rivers and reservoirs. For the time being this wobbler is available in one, the most popular size of 7 cm, however 6 and 9 cm versions are already in preparation, as well as a lipless Courier model.
