Product Description:

A combination of Dragon V-Point anchors and American A.F.W. lines, designed to retrofit medium to large rubbers to improve hook-up performance.

There are several reasons for this combination, including the three most important:

1. the predator often attacks the lure from below (especially pike); the greater the mass (cross-sectional area of the rubber), the greater the probability that the fish will not grab the lure in its entirety in the first phase of the attack; if the hook of the head does not get into the mouth right away, and the predator does not improve its grip, our strike will be rather empty;

2. a long hook means stiffening the lure, worsening its action and fewer strikes; there is also the well-known fact that many predators much prefer to strike near the head of a potential victim, and in this area our lure will not be armed;

3. a relatively short hook that gives a good action of the rubber, in turn, means the loss of those fish that chase the lure, trying to catch it from the tail.


These problems are solved by a good rearm. Simply arm the lure with the optimum jig head for its action, adding the correct length of leader with an anchor.
