In these series of blanks hi-module construction was used, based on two kinds of graphite by Japanese TORAY company:

•  extra stiff 42 mln graphite (in outer layers);


•  24 and 30 mln PSI strength graphite in the core and middle part of the blank.

Additional protection of the blank against mechanical damages was created in Matrix Shield technology, which involves reeling few very thin and precisely grinded layers of the carbon tape
