AGLIA - POMPON SILVER - #5
The red colour lures a lot of fish. Such fish as chub, perch, ide, and, probably, pike certainly react to it. It is also easier to irritate and provoke sea trout and salmon to “chase” the bait, which during their migration to the spawning grounds do not eat, when the lure has a strongly coloured accent. Aglia Pompon, or the standard Aglie with dense red weeds on the anchor, is a bait for any predator. These lures may be used both in rivers and still waters, especially when you want to fish in the middle part of water or closer to the surface. A large plastic ornament retains air bubbles in its dense structure and also has such a big resistance in the water that the lure is pushed upwards. The Mepps Aglia Pompon spinners are an excellent bait for fishing on the tops of underwater hills, over the meadows of coontail, water-thyme, watermilfoil or pondweed, as well as in the reeds. The large Pompon lures are also worth using at the depth: large, pelagic pikes can come to a lure that is not placed very deep, even on the level of 10m.
