SUGOI CXT | 2,13m | 3-12g

DRAGON SUGOI CXT ULTRA - A sub-group of this series called ULTRA for super-delicate, short rods (1.80 m to 2.13 m), with a maximum allowable lure weight of 3, 5 and 8 grams and parabolic action. This is a deadly effective tackle for masters of fine fishing.

The finishing components of the SUGOI ULTRA CXT series are:

 SeaGUIDE Titanium SiC super-light guides;

 SK2 type reel handle with exposed blank;

 a combined metal, graphite and EVA foam butt cap;

 Thread Master's two-component, non-ageing epoxy omote varnish;

 ProWrap fly tying threads.

The following mats from the Japanese company Toray were used in the blanks of the SUGOI ULTRA CXT rods:

 basic blank material: high-modulus graphites 40 and 46 million PSI;

 62 million PSI high-stiffness graphite, both in the areas requiring weight reduction and for action adjustment;

 30 million PSI strength graphite in the core of the blank.

We introduced CXT (X-Cross Ceramic Graphites) technology for super-light rods several years ago in the MS-X series.

It offers the possibility of constructing blanks of very small diameter and weight, combining in their characteristics soft, progressively deepening deflection with sensitivity and speed of reaction. The first feature is the comfort of long and accurate casting with micro bait and the thrill of hauling even small fish. The second element gives us the advantage of picking up every contact of the fish with the lure and a quick, sure strike.

We call all this together the M-L-C system, or Micro Lure Concept.
