The manufacturer of Virus asp crankbaits is the Hunter Company, which has a very wide range of products for many species of fish. The first wobblers were created by Andrzej Lipinski around 1995. Since then, the Hunter company has already created dozens of types of wobblers for chub, ide, zander, asp, trout or pike, among others. Wobblers are manufactured from scratch by Hunter. Casting, painting and setting the rudders is done by hand.

Thanks to the attention to detail, the wobbler has an impeccable action, which makes these wobblers real killers for river and lake predators.

Virus is characterized by a side-to-side flicker and a strong action felt on the rod tip. Virus Hunter is designed mainly for fishing for asps feeding in the lower parts of the water. It has a high weight and a slightly shifted center of gravity allowing for very long and accurate casts. When fishing across the current, try casting the crankbait to the opposite bank of the river and, holding the lure on a taut line, bring it freely towards you. Don't forget to give it extra work with the rod. Guided crankbait with the water current is equally effective, however, do not give it too fast work, as it shows its true skills when guided at a medium pace. When leading the lure downstream, wind the braided line so that you can feel the work of the lure on the rod at all times.

When guiding against the current, we recommend a slow retrieve. The current of the river will do the rest of the work for us and fantastically expose the fishing qualities of the crankbait. Despite the fact that it is an asp lure by definition, it will work perfectly when fishing for zander.
