The SALMO Jack is a large jerkbait designed for catching the biggest freshwater predators. The lure’s distinctive, bulky profile mimics a small pike – the natural prey of large specimens of this species. As a result, the lure effectively provokes particularly large, territorial predators into attacking.

The Jack model operates with typical jerkbait action, reacting dynamically to jerks of the rod. When retrieved, it makes wide sideways movements and irregular changes of direction, resembling the movements of a weakened or fleeing fish. This action often triggers aggressive strikes from pike, even in difficult conditions.

Thanks to its substantial weight, the lure allows for long and precise casts, which is particularly important when fishing vast waters, underwater humps and vegetation belts. The body design ensures stable action both during classic jerking and slower, intermittent retrieves.

The SALMO Jack is particularly effective when fishing for pike in large lakes, reservoir lakes and extensive oxbow lakes. The lure’s large profile attracts larger fish and allows you to effectively target trophy specimens.

In a limited edition, the Jack 18 model is available in selected special colourways, which further enhance the lure’s appeal to predators.
