Miniature wobblers with fine, intensive action. Gudgeons are the natural food of many fish, so the effectiveness of these imitations is sometimes surprising. Apart from obvious species such as trout, chub and ide we can use them to effectively fish for grayling, dace and ide. You can even spot a Bleak and Roach.

Gudgeons dive to about 50cm. With a shot tightened at least a dozen or so centimetres before the wobbler you can fish also deeper parts of water. However, it is not always necessary to go deep, because there are often strikes with a gudgeon led close to the water surface. Probably, guided just below the water surface it resembles a swarming insect, hence its effectiveness.
