Neutral (SP) and slow sinking (SS) models are great for aggressive fishing, after casting leave them to go down to the right depth and lead with short jerks (twitching). Floating versions are suitable for shallower water or when the fish are feeding in the upper parts of the water, good results will be achieved after dark when the fish are hunting near the shore for fry.

There are several features which plastic wobblers possess and have an advantage over those made of balsa. One of the most important trumps are casting qualities. Most of them are equipped with small tungsten balls which shift the centre of gravity at the moment of casting, such a ball also makes itself known discreetly underwater.
